Thursday began a four part series of position breakdowns for the Hornet football team. Friday will feature the quarterbacks, receiveres and H-backs. The offensive line and running backs were featured on Thursday. The defense will start on Monday with the defensive line and linebackers.

Quarterbacks
Three-year starter Tyler Eckenrode is the leading returning passer in the MIAA after throwing for 2,580 yards last season. He added 283 yards on the ground to rank third in the MIAA in total offense and is the top returner in the conference.  There are a total of five quarterbacks on the roster,  however Eckenrode is the only one to have taken a snap in a college game. In fact he is the only quarterback listed that is not a true or red-shirt freshman.
