Lady Hornets Fall in White Auditorium

January 24, 2018-The Lady Hornets shot a season low 25% from the field in their 78-61 loss to #7 Central Missouri on Wednesday night. The loss snapped Emporia State's 27 game home court winning streak in White Auditorium.

The Lady Hornets shot just two for 21 from the field in the opening ten minutes as they fell behind 22-9 after the first period. Emporia State was down by 12 with 1:39 left in the half after a Morgan Laudan fast break layup. The Jennies then ended the half on a 6-0 run to take a 38-20 lead into the locker room.
