Emporia State dedicated the Milton Tennis Courts in 2004 in honor of former coach George Milton, the Hornet's head coach from 1966-99. The facility, located west of the HPER Building on campus, is used by the men's and women's tennis programs and hosted the ESU women's first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2005 as well as the 2007 regional.
The courts were resurfaced and painted in US Open Blue during the summer of 2011.
The Hornets also play matches at the Emporia High School Courts in northwest Emporia. The EHS complex has 12 lighted courts, allowing for men's and women's matches to be played at the same time.
